TRANSACTION COST

 

                                  Steps taken to reduce transaction cost on exports:

 

1.     Counter timing both for receipt and delivery of applications/authorizations will be 09.30 am to 06.00pm.

2.     Computerized receipts for complete applications issued immediately stating the target date for monitoring and on time disposal.

3.     Counter assistance made effective to enable exporters to have the feedback on the applications submitted by them for scrutiny by the next working day.

4.     Time bound disposal of applications as per para 9.11 of the Hand Book of Procedures, Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014.

5.     Usage of E-mails enhanced to reduce delays in communication through letters.

6.     Suggestions on FTP and reduction of transaction cost welcome on  pune-dgft[at]nic[dot]in

7.     Pro-active resolution of grievances in consultation with other concerned organizations like Customs, Central excise, Banks and DGFT, Hqrs.

8.     Broad basing the export facilitation committee to include all concerned stake holders for an effective coordination and export facilitation.

9.    Jt.DGFT, Pune can be approached at any time. No specific visiting hours.

10.   Resolution of operational issues related to EDI implementation especially new initiatives like e-BRC, IEC-online, etc., through interactive sessions.
